It¿s not an easy thing, making the ultimate decision as to where to hang your hat in what could very possibly be your forever home¿but in choosing one of the Whitchurch-Stouffville condos for sale, that choice may be made somewhat easier. In living in one of these condos, you will be able to have access to a generous selection of amenities and recreational activities, and thanks to the major roadways passing through the town, you¿ll also be able to take a daytrip to where all of the action is in places like Toronto, experiencing all of the fantastic amenities offered there, before retreating at day¿s end to the marvelous peace and quiet of this town (comparably). You also have access to a handful of beautiful green parks throughout the town in which you can sit and enjoy the greenery of nature (or go for a walk/cycle on one of the paths leading through them). Also, thanks to the presence of the Highway 48, it¿s not only Toronto that you can have access to, but you¿ll be able to head southward right into the heart of the city of Markham and beyond, and northward, you can head all the way to the shores of Lake Simcoe.
While some may think Whitchurch-Stouffville does not have very much, it has a fair bit as far as amenities go. Whitchurch-Stouffville was given the eponymous hyphen in its namesake due to once having been two villages that were brought together in the mid-1900s, but its history extends even further back than that. As far back as 1500 B.C, evidence of Native settlements have been found, and it is for this reason that Whitchurch-Stouffville has several amenities dedicated to preserving its long history, such as museums and old heritage buildings. Whitchurch-Stouffville was also where the famous man William Lyon Mackenzie (one of the most well-known figures in contributing to Canada¿s confederation) created a plan for the rebellion of Upper Canada in 1837. Beyond the historic amenities however, you also will have access to some shopping amenities regardless of which of the Whitchurch-Stouffville condos for sale you will have chosen. Some of the examples include a grocery store, a coffee shop, a couple of gas stations, an LCBO, a few restaurants/fast food places/bistros, a pharmacy, a couple of banks, and a handful of little mom-and-pop shops that are sure to delight and please most people visiting them at any given time of day.
Transportation through the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is quite easy, no matter which of the Whitchurch-Stouffville condos for sale you¿d choose, and that¿s thanks to the major roadways that pass through it (which are Main Street, Millard Street, Hoover Park Drive, Ninth Line, Tenth Line, and York-Durham Line). Highway 48 is at the western edge of the town, while York-Durham Line is at the eastern edge of town; both roads travel north and south, and both offer an incredible amount of accessibility to the other nearby towns and cities of the region. You also have the Stouffville GO train station, which can really boost your ability to get around, as the GO transit line ¿goes¿ all the way into Toronto, right down to Union Station in downtown. The GO transit lines also crisscross all throughout southern Ontario and depending on how far you¿d be willing to travel, the GO train can technically give you access to almost any town or city in the Golden Horseshoe (so named for the towns and cities that circle around the western part of Lake Ontario). Then, at day¿s end, you¿ll have the ability to come back to the peace and quiet of Whitchurch-Stouffville and relax.
